Pushy Birds Privacy Policy
Pushy Birds (“the app”) is an iPhone game controlled by doing push-ups in front of the front camera. This policy explains what the app does and doesn’t do with your data.
Camera
The app uses the front camera to estimate the height of your head while you exercise. Frames are analyzed on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. Video is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera; the app then works in touch mode.
Data stored on your device
Your calibration, settings, local high scores, lifetime totals, and the list of purchases you own are stored only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, Apple records the scores the app submits (best run, longest run, lifetime push-ups) under your Game Center player ID, subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Game Center is optional and can be turned off in the app’s Settings.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details, or address. Apple provides us only with anonymous transaction records needed to unlock what you bought.
Advertising
The app may show ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To serve and measure ads, Google’s SDK may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address (for approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Whether ads can be personalized depends on your choices:
- App Tracking Transparency: iOS asks whether Pushy Birds may track you before the first ad. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads are non-personalized.
- EEA, UK, and Switzerland: before any ad, a consent form lets you allow or refuse personalized advertising. You can change your choice later in the app’s Settings → “Ad privacy options”.
- Remove Ads / Aviary Pass: owners of either purchase see no interstitial ads. Rewarded ads only play when you tap “Second Wind”.
Google’s use of data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
What we don’t do
No accounts, no email collection, no analytics of our own, no selling of data. We have no servers; the app talks only to Apple (App Store, Game Center) and Google (ads).
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We’ll update this page and the effective date if anything above changes.
